Do we accept your insurance?

Insurance is a complicated industry to navigate. We try to assist our patients with insurance questions to the best of our ability, but since each plan is unique we cannot guarantee coverage for patients. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to confirm with your plan. We recommend using the # on the back of your insurance card to confirm that we are in their network.


  • BlueCross BlueShield

  • First Choice Health

  • Premera

  • Regence - there are a couple Regence plans we are not an “in-network” provider with (see below)

  • Aetna

Since not all insurance plans are created equal, we recommend all patients confirm with their specific insurance plan that Lise Martin, ARNP of Seattle Women's & Moms' Clinic is “in-network” with their plan.  We don't want you to have any unexpected insurance fees/issues.  If Lise Martin, ARNP is listed as an out-of network provider, then you will want to confirm what your “responsibility” is for fees from your insurance company. You can usually do all of this through your plan’s website.


  • When you have insurance, but not a plan we accept, you can receive care at the cash rate (due at time of service). Then, you submit a “Superbill” to your insurance plan for reimbursement of some or all of the costs. Email us if this is you.


  • We offer cash rates, which are due at time of service. Email us to inquire about this option.


  • Insurance companies compensate healthcare providers/facilities differently and SWMC has chosen to contract with payors (insurers) that reimburse the clinic fairly and appropriately for the services we provide.  A great quote in a helpful article on this subject (which you can access at Which Doctors or Healthcare Facilities Accept Insurance Varies) explained it well in non-medical terms:

    • "Here's another way to think about it. Suppose you went to work and did your job well. When it came time to get your paycheck, your employer told you he had decided your services weren't really worth what you expected to be paid, so he was going to begin paying you less. Take it or leave it. That's the position doctors are put in by payers each year."



  • We offer online scheduling for existing patients.

  • For our new patients, to guarantee your needs are met and that you’re scheduled correctly & appropriately, we do not enable online scheduling until after your initial visit.

OhMD Texting App

Modern and secure HIPAA compliant texting

  •  A HIPAA compliant texting program, where you can send specific questions regarding your

    health. Please do not send health questions through email, as it is not as secure as the OhMD app.

  • This is a bonus service that Lise provides to her patients... Lise works to be accessible to her

    patients and has found OhMD to be a very efficient tool for her patients.

  • As a patient herself, she has seen how frustrating it can be to send a “MyChart” message to a

    “provider” that then gets routed to other clinical staff, such as a medical assistant then a nurse, prior to the provider reviewing it (and sometimes the provider never even gets to see it).

    Lise finds OhMD a good alternative to the traditional model of modern communication that is

    currently offered at most major clinics.


Onpatient Patient Portal

This is where you will have access to:

  • have access to clinic policies that need to be reviewed and signed prior to visit

  • view your your handouts, documents/records, and lab results

  • communicate with your provider

You will receive an invite to onpatient once the clinic has confirmed an initial appointment for you.

Why onpatient?

We selected onpatient software, as it was rather intuitive for patient use and very progressive in it's features, providing a deeper and more efficient relationship between patient and provider.

Then, make sure to complete check-in online at onpatient PRIOR to your visit (ideally at least 24 hours before).
